With the economy stressed, many people must think about fuel, family, food, and a home. This does not leave any left over for pet care expenses. Therefore, a family that has pets may have to let the pets go or do without some forms of care.

A Labrador breeder is a huge undertaking and is costly. Let me explain. Time has to be put into the Labradors records must be kept and due dates recorded. The Labradors must stay apart unless you only have two Labradors. This all requires time and there is the cleaning and sanitizing the kennels and food and water containers. This is all time consuming and costly. However, these things need tending to as to ensure the health of the Labradors and the new puppies.

A breeder needs to inspect each Labrador in his or her care thoroughly each day looking for signs or problems or to see that the Labrador is in good condition.
